Hi Christopher, thanks for the welcome. My name is Wes, and I'm trying to start an online store, auction, classified ads and social network for green-products, recycled or used items, and sustainable-energy service & information. It will host the cheapest end-of-auction fees and no insertion or other costs; an excellent alternative to eBay.

I'm using the script BidWare, and so far I'm very happy with it out of 4 that I tested out (free versions, of course..) What you see on the site currently is the default (only) template of the script; all that I have changed are the green colors -- and I made that crappy logo with Paintbrush just to give myself a basic idea of what I want, graphically.
Very obviously, I am NOT artistically inclined or graphic-editor savvy, and I am quite literally praying that some kind soul will offer their services in exchange for a permanent banner-link placed in the footer of my site.
What I could also hope for is someone interested or willing to integrate a better template into the script. This is the freecsstemplates.org template that I really like: http://www.earthince...g/earthtemplate If not this, then something simple would suffice, just cleaner, shinier, less square and dull. I can offer a permanent banner-list on the footer of my site, and would put a link to your site on all of my forums' and emails' signature.
For either of these requests, I will also give you lifetime free auctions, 100%. This includes putting anything that you have up for sale on the Featured-Listings section, and also free attention-grabbers such as highlighted titles, etc.
So thank you for reading, and thanks for the opportunity in this forum. I Hope to, at the very least, learn a lot from the graphic tutorials here. Who know? Maybe someday I will be an artist!
Thanks for any help!
~Wes
P.S. Making a website has REALLY changed since the mid-90's when I learned old-fashioned html lol

hey just thought I'd point out that you need to change the link active state on your website when you move to the shop or sell links it still looks as if it's on the "home" link at the top. Very nice site best of luck!
